Its minimalist interface design devotes most of the screen space to feed listings. There are only menus and no toolbar buttons. Beneath this interface there are some powerful features. As a bonus, Feedreader can also download enclosures and podcasts that are attactched to the articles. it allows you to tag all articles and his helps in organizing them. feedreader is such a complex little program that it occupies a small memory footprint of just 4 MB. Guys each browser has its own user agent. The user agent is set to a particular value as default, like the user agent of firefox is: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011913 Firefox/3.0.6.

Some websites need to check what browser are you using to display web pages correctly, because each browser has different ways of reading and displaying HTML, CSS, PHP, etc. This happens especially in Mozilla add-ons website. If you are using Firefox while surfing that site, the will display “Add to Firefox” to install an add-on, it won’t download it. But if its other browser, then it will display “Download” and you can save it on your local hard drive.

Microsoft Update also checks whether you are using IE or not while updating. This might annoys many of us.

Here is the way to tackle this problem and run update in Firefox:

1. Use this add-on. Its called IE Tab. There is an option in the context menu when you right-click, which says “View this page in IE Tab”. Open windows update site in firefox and just right-click and click on this option. Your work is done.

I recently came across a user script which removes the annoying ad features in Gmail.
On the other hand, it makes your message view wider.

Its a javascript. So you need a javascript enabled browser (i recommend firefox).

2. Install Greasemonkey add-on from here.
3. Go here to install the script.
4. Open your inbox and enjoy the clear view (without ads).

Microsoft Gazelle, a new web browser project by Microsoft was recently brought into the spotlight on Microsoft Research.

According to the information provided by Microsoft, this web browser will be more like an Operating System with many new features that you won’t find in Firefox, Chrome or even in Microsoft’s Internet Explorer.

Ofcourse, this will be greatly increasing the perfomace and security – in other words, can come up as the safest web browser of the world.

There is no information on its release or any other details as this project is still under works. But I’m sure, Microsoft will soon reveal more about it as time passes.

To get a direct link for any image in Google Image Search, you have to first click the image and get the direct link from the website page where that image belongs to. But thanks to a Greasemonkey script, getting a direct link is much easier now.

Google Direct Image Links is a Greasemonkey script that adds a link to the direct URL of the image above every search result in Google Image Search.

This is a very useful script for people (like me) who use Google Image Search very often. No need to open the image page first just to get the direct link. You can copy it directly from the results page.
